Confirm your requirement
Competitive families receive requirements based on the skater’s registered sessions.
Volunteers
Connaught is a non-profit club. Family volunteers help us deliver strong programs, welcoming events and a better experience for every skater.
Why it matters
Volunteer support helps Connaught operate smoothly and keeps club programs connected to the families they serve. No previous experience is required for most opportunities, and assignments are shared as needs arise.
From helping at a session to supporting a club event, each task makes more time and attention available for skaters.
How it works
Requirements are assigned by season and depend on competitive ice registration. Always use the policy for your current season.

Open tasks are communicated by the volunteer team and are filled as help is needed.
Submit completed time through the season’s official hour-record form by its deadline.
Season update
The club lists December 20, 2026 as the Fall hours submission deadline. Record your hours using the official form. The policy’s worked examples differ from its requirements table; confirm your family’s requirement with the volunteer coordinator if you are unsure.
2026–27 requirements
For competitive families (Bronze and above), the requirement applies once per immediate family, using the skater with the most weekly ice sessions. All on-ice sessions and recurring buy-ons count.

Fee estimates use $18 per hour. The policy bases the actual fee on the rounded B.C. minimum wage. Partial completion does not reduce the fee, and hours cannot carry over to another season.
Fall hours are due December 20, 2026. Winter, Spring and Summer submission dates have not yet been announced.
